AKKS-kveld på Mono 13. november!

Lørdag 13 November skriver AKKS konsertplakaten på Café Mono i Oslo. Kl 18 inviterer vi til Damer i Blues og Lørdagsgodt, kl 22 blir det finsk punk og pinup rock fra Bergen! Hele herligheta kan du få med deg helt gratis!!

Damer i Blues med Rita Engedalen og Morten Omlid:
Rita Engedalen: Er kronet av norsk presse til Norges Bluesdronning og har høstet mange gode anmeldelser og femmere i fleng for sitt siste album, ”The Tree Still Standing”. Dette er hennes tredje album og utgivelsen har markert seg sterkt i inn og utland.  Rita fikk også en rosende omtale for sitt album på nettstedet BluesWax ( USA  ), noe som er en stor anerkjennelse innenfor norsk blues miljø.  Utgivelsen ”The Tree Still Standing” ble nominert til  Spellemannsprisen i klassen for Blues 2008. Med stolthet nevnes det også at hennes plate ”Heaven ain`t ready for me yet”, vant SPELLEMANNSPRISEN i klassen for Blues i 2006.

The Betties:
The Betties, a rock band with its main base in Bergen, Norway, consists of four saucy ladies with bucketloads of attitude and charm. Betty Licious, Miss Distortion, Gina Tonic aka Gina Simmons and Verotica serve up a thrilling combination of rock ‘n roll and lushious pinup style with all this has to offer in tits, legs, red lips, stockings, heals and hair.
